Karang Taruna 

karang taruna is a social organization of fostering and developing young people who grow and develop on the basis of awareness and social responsibility, by, and for the community, especially the younger generation in the village area or community equally. this organization was formed in 2009. the existence of karang taruna in a village that aims to realize the increasing social welfare for the younger generation.

the organizational structure in karang taruna is chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, social welfare field, and public relations field. 
the duty of the chairman is together secretary sign a letters related with attitude and policy organization, both inward and outward, together secretaries and treasurers design an agenda to seek the search and extraction of financial resources for operational activities and organizational programs, maintaining the integrity and cohesiveness of all organizational leaders.
the duty of the secretary is with the chairman signing the incoming and outgoing mail. 
the duty of the treasurer is to propose all the rules of the organization in the field of financial management to be the policy of the organization, facilitating the need of financing the work program.
 the duty of the social welfare field is
collect and inventory existing social assistance, service and rehabilitation activities to be studied and reviewed into further development materials, organizing social assistance in various forms such as compensation and other assistance in a certain moment periodically. 
the duty of the field of public relations is to organize community activities in the field of communication. 
members of karang taruna are teenagers from local villagers. when entering adolescence must become a member of karang taruna.
the benefit of being a member of karang taruna is improving the ability of society. in this case is the ability to socialize with the community either in the neighborhood or community outside the neighborhood where he lived. Karangtaruna can be used as a miniature of real social life in the community. In karangtaruna we learn to respect the opinions of others and learn deliberations to solve problems. Such experiences can be used in community life.

The soul of leadership can be nurtured within the existing organizational structure of youth. In the organizational structure there are other chairmen, representatives, and structures. Being a leader can also exercise our responsibility as a trusted person to lead a mandated position.
