How To Encourage English Department Students To Speak English More Often And Confidently

Currently English is an international language, therefore it is not surprising that many students who want to learn more  English. Fluent in english has many benefits for English Department students but, at this time there are still many English Department students who rarely speak English in their daily life. There are several ways can make students speak English more often and confidently.

Firstly, make the target memorized vocab at least 10 in a day. One of the things that make English Department students rarely speak English because of lack of knowledge about vocab. By memorizing the vocab then the students will be more mastered and fluent in English conversations that will make students not lazy to speak English in their daily life especially while on campus.

Secondly, often listening to music and watching films. To understand and have good English skills, of course to hear and read a lot. From listening to music and watching films can understand how to speak with the good pronounce easily. 

Lastly, practice it. The proverb says "get used to". Mastering English is probably a difficult thing. However, another story if you make English speak as a habit. So, the easy way to learn English is by making English activities as a habit. Make a day where on that day obliges to use English in communicating and mutual correction to each other. So English Department students become more often and confident in speaking english.
